New Cincy Restaurant is a Must Experience!

Four of us ladies celebrating an engagement, and the news of twins arriving soon - I knew nothing would stop this night from being unforgettable!

La Poste Eatery is placed in Clifton's Gaslight District.  La Poste is Fench for postal service, and if I must say, it truly delivers!

The one page menu is laid out as a letter, which includes postage, salutations and body.  The atmosphere is modern and upbeat with a feel-good, relaxing tone.

To begin, we ordered: a bottle of Millbrandt Cabernet, the Flatbread (fig compote, caramelized onion, D’aphinois Fromage, basil, pistachio pesto), the Pommes Frites (rosemary, black garlic aioli) a.k.a French Fries, and Hot bacon Scallops (baby spinach, gorgonzola cream, frisee, crostini).

Onto our second course, and adding the second bottle of cab - I had the Roasted Crimson Pear (fresh herb goat cheese, prosciutto, arugula), a salad so sophisticated and rich.  I thoroughly enjoyed every bite.

Last, but certainly not least, opting out of the body, I decided to go with another salutation for my main course.  I chose the Mussels and Clams (dry cider, coriander, leeks, grilled tomatoes, crostini).  They were great with the wine, and easily fulfilling.  The light, creamy broth with grilled tomatoes really complimented the meat from the seafood.

With the ingredients listed above, do I really need to say, "YUM"?
